Fall 2013 Faculty Meeting:

Fall "Precision Student Discount Day": Tuesday, September 3rd from 12pm to 6:00pm at Precision-note new location at 2438 W Anderson Ln  Austin, TX 78757

(512) 467-7676. They will sell inks, papers and other supplies. This is the only day Precision will offer discounts on basic supplies. 

Print Show Fall 2013

Prints due  - Monday, December 9th till 10pm
Print judging - Tuesday, December 10th at 9am
Show set up -Wednesday, December 11th all day
Print Show - Thursday, December 12th at noon
Semester Ends  -Sunday, December 15th, 2013

Hourly for 2013: will remain Cristine East, Kyle Pierce and Robert Gomez to help faculty with class needs. Hours available will be posted in the adjunct faculty office. Please contact them at 223-4463 or in room 3125 for general assistance.

Prerequisites: On your class roll make sure your students have met the required
prerequisites for your class.

Withdrawing Students: If students are withdrawn from your classes please send a note to corresponding lab/camera class faculty as well as Lori so she can make sure any equipment checked out to that student is returned.

Equipment Checkout: 
First day of equipment check out will be:  Thursday, September 12th

Check-out Times:
Mondays 12-2 & 4-6 due back Thursday between 12-2
Thursday 12-2 & 4-6 due back Saturday between 9-11
Saturday 9-1 due back Monday between 12-2

Faculty Portfolios:  Update your faculty notebook that contains your "Portfolio" Details will be reviewed at the meeting. 

Lighthouse: Faculty please update syllabus if needed, supply lists, and end-of-course outcomes, office hours on their Lighthouse page. Outcomes are listed in your printed syllabus under the course description.

Syllabus Requirements: Please refer to link if you have questions about what is required by ACC and SACS  ACC syllabus requirements

TSI (Texas State Initiative) Compliance

Texas law has established the Texas Success Initiative which requires that students take an approved test before enrolling in college. Because of this faculty MUST do the following to verify TSI Compliance by their students:

1.    Log in to online services.

2.    View the Prerequisite Class Roster

3.    In the column marked “TSI Status”, look for students whose status is 

       “Not Complete” or have no status indicated (status is blank).

4.    Communicate with these students. Non-compliant students must

        immediately make an appointment with Advising regarding their TSI 

        compliance.

Student Accident Forms: Link for student and faculty to fill out if student gets hurt during class or on ACC property. Need to complete the Student Claim form and submit a copy to the department.
